CTC Academy Celebrates Excellence in Education with ASAH Awards
CTC Academy proudly recognizes the dedication and accomplishments of its outstanding staff through the annual ASAH “Educator of the Year” Awards. This prestigious statewide program, sponsored by ASAH, honors exceptional educators, teaching assistants, and related service providers who serve students with special needs across New Jersey.
Earlier this year, Dr. Julia Bean, DPT, was celebrated at the ASAH luncheon as the 2024 Region 1 Service Provider of the Year. Julia, a skilled and compassionate clinician, is known for her unwavering advocacy for students and families. Her colleagues nominated her for her dedication to lifelong learning and her commitment to excellence. Following a rigorous selection process, Julia was chosen by ASAH to receive this regional honor.
“We are incredibly proud of Dr. Bean and all of our nominees who exemplify the mission of CTC Academy. Their hard work, innovation, and commitment to our students and families inspire us daily,” said CTC Academy Executive Director, Anne Ogden.
In addition to celebrating Dr. Bean, CTC Academy also celebrates the following 2024 ASAH nominees

How Are Winners Selected?
Once nominations are received, the selection process is facilitated by members of the CTC Management team along with the previous year’s ASAH nominees. This committee carefully reviews the nomination forms which provide detailed and specific examples of the nominee’s contributions and achievements. Nominees’ names are redacted to ensure impartiality and the process to nominate is open to all staff members.
