Planned Giving

Support our organization in a meaningful way as part of your legacy.

Every one of us hopes to have a positive impact and leave a legacy for future generations. Planned Giving is the practice of designating a major gift to a charitable organization in life or as part of an Estate Plan. The gift could include cash, real estate, life insurance, equity, or personal property. Planned Giving is also sometimes referred to as Legacy Giving.

Planned Giving is a key component to The CTC Academy’s ability to continue to fulfill its mission today and for generations to come. We are happy to answer your questions and provide support as you plan your legacy.

  • Keep us thriving with your gift
  • Take advantage of numerous tax and financial benefits
  • Leave a legacy to be remembered by future generations

What types of gifts can I make?

Charitable Gift Annuity

A charitable gift annuity is a great way to make a gift to our organization and benefit. You transfer your cash or property to our organization in a way that best suits your needs.

  • Current Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Flexible Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity

Bequests

A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. It is one of the most popular and flexible ways that you can support our cause. Bequests are a powerful way to support The CTC Academy because they cost nothing today but have an impact for generations to come.

Individual Retirement Account (IRA) Charitable Rollover

An IRA rollover allows people age 70 & and older to reduce their taxable income by making a gift directly from their IRA.

Donations of Life Insurance or IRAs

Retirement accounts and life insurance benefits typically pass by “beneficiary designation” and are not controlled by a will or trust. To designate The CTC Academy as the beneficiary of this type of asset you can complete a “change of beneficiary” form. Your account administrator or insurance company can provide the form. Most forms request a social security number. When naming The CTC Academy as a beneficiary, please use our Tax ID below.
