CTC Academy’s 30th Anniversary Gala
CTC Academy’s 30th Anniversary Gala – LOVE – to include live painting by Marco Santini
Save the date for LOVE! On Thursday, June 13th, 2024 CTC Academy will mark the 30th anniversary of their largest annual fundraiser gala at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ. A highlight of the event will be the creation of an original, collaborative live painting by award-winning, international impact artist Marco Santini, which will be sold during the live auction to support the CTC Academy.
Santini found his life’s purpose to spread love and positivity through art and education. He draws inspiration from inclusion, positivity, and language. His Bachelor of Arts in Linguistic Anthropology from Brown University led him to create his One Love logo, which features the word love in over 100 languages, meant to symbolize that there’s more that unites us than divides us.
Sanitini will incorporate the words supporters use to describe the CTC Academy, our students and their families and our staff with his One Love logo to create a unique and inspirational work. The funds raised on event night will directly benefit our students and ensure that the CTC Academy will continue to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs, and their families, by providing an enriched educational, therapeutic and supportive environment for another 30 years and beyond.
The CTC Academy is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides educational and therapeutic services for students with a diverse array of developmental and physical disabilities through our collaborative educational program and support services for students and families.
We first opened our doors as the Cerebral Palsy Center of Bergen County, NJ, on March 29, 1950. We began as a center for children with Cerebral Palsy but over the past 70 years we have evolved into an innovative education institution that provides creative education and advanced therapies to students with many different types of disabilities – students who face physical, medical and developmental challenges.
Now we offer two schools and follow the school continuum from Preschool through age 21 as well as Early Enrichment for children ages 18 months through 3 years. Our Fair Lawn Campus serves students 18 months through 7 years of age. The Oakland Campus serves students 7 through 21 years of age.
Please consider joining us for what we anticipate will be our most successful gala to date! Contributions are tax deductible and there are many opportunities to help. Tickets and sponsorships are available at one.bidpal.net/ctclove/welcome or at ctcacademy.org/fundraising-events or by contacting us at info@ctcacademy.org. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community.
