Impact Artist Marco Santini’s Inspirational LOVE Murals at CTC Academy Oakland & Fair Lawn Campus

Oakland, NJ – November 8, 2024 – CTC Academy is thrilled to announce the creation of 2 new murals by renowned Impact Artist Marco Santini at its Oakland and Fair Lawn campuses. The mural in Oakland was painted on an exterior wall visible to students and staff arriving each day and to passersby on Bauer Drive.

Marco Santini, known for his captivating live art pieces, originally created a LOVE-themed artwork at CTC Academy’s 2024 LOVE gala in June. This dynamic piece was auctioned to longtime supporters Nicole and Stuart Kovensky, who generously donated $12,000 to CTC Academy to own the piece. Inspired by the success of this auction, Santini agreed to bring a similar vibrant colored and love-filled mural to the campus, celebrating our mission for everyone who passes by to enjoy.

Students, families, staff, and even gala guests were asked to share what CTC means to them. These words, such as “Joy,” “Fun,” and “Teamwork,” reflect the core values and the loving environment that CTC Academy strives to foster. Each term highlights what CTC Academy means to our community and reinforces the academy’s commitment to enriching the lives of children and young adults with special needs and their families.

“This mural will serve as a daily reminder of our mission and the love that fuels our educational and therapeutic efforts,” said Anne Ogden, Executive Director at CTC Academy. “We’re excited to have Marco Santini’s artistry become a part of our campus, reinforcing the values we hold dear and inspiring everyone who walks through our doors.”

Marco Santini is an award-winning, international Impact Artist, mentor, and inventor based in New Jersey. Marco has made it his life’s purpose to spread love and positivity through art and education. His One Love logo is featured on this year’s invitation. It includes the word love in over 100 languages symbolizing that there’s more that unites us than divides us. Marco paints and speaks at schools all around the world to share the importance of creativity. He aims to include everyone in the creative discussion.

Marco Santini learned about the CTC through longtime friends the Wengerter family; their daughter is a student at our Oakland Campus. We are thrilled to welcome him and his message that we are stronger together because of our differences.
