[Fair Lawn, NJ, May 2, 2022]- At their 28th Annual Gala Dinner Dance & Silent Auction – We Can Do It! on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ, The CTC Academy will honor Dr. Lisa Maxine Nalven, Director, Developmental Pediatrics at Valley Health System. Nalven, who is also The CTC Academy School Physician and a member of the board, has been a champion for all CTC students for more than 20 years and has most recently been an integral resource for developing health protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Executive Director, Anne Ogden said, “Dr. Nalven’s willingness to share her knowledge and her commitment to The CTC Academy is gratefully acknowledged as a major contribution to what has become our motto for this year and our gala theme, “We Can Do It!” Dr. Nalven is one of approximately 700 board certified Developmental/Behavioral Pediatricians in the country and The CTC Academy is so grateful for her expertise and dedication to her patients, our students and their families.

The CTC Academy’s Head of Health Services, Carol Anne Chupak, who has worked especially closely with Dr. Nalven over the past two years to chart CTC’s course during this unprecedented time, is thrilled to present the award to Dr. Nalven during the gala. Chupak said, “Dr. Nalven has been an advocate for CTC Academy for many years. She has been our constant source for information and guidance in our search for the best possible care and safety protocols for our students. It is my privilege to be able to work with her. On behalf of the entire CTC Academy community, it will be an honor to present her with this award.”

Dr. Nalven discovered The CTC Academy in 1998 while researching programs on behalf of one of her patients and since that time Dr. Nalven and her team have recommended The CTC Academy to families who would benefit most. Many current and past students started their journey by meeting Dr. Nalven. To read more about Dr. Nalven’s extraordinary accomplishments, visit https://bit.ly/3xd99wkctcwecandoithonoree.
